I had the pleasure of visiting this historic hotel in a 300-year-old monastery, and it truly impressed me. The attention to detail in the decor is unmistakable, and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was simply exquisite! An experience I can highly recommend to everyone.
We did not stay here but tried their food. It was packed during lunch time but all the food was delicious. The meat is cooked perfectly and the cake is fresh and not too sweet definitely not store bought. Talk to the owner who was very world open amd friendly, definitely recommend a stop when you get a chance
Beautiful hotel in a vintage building. The bed was not very comfortable though. The service was prompt and staff is polite and helpful. Ask for the parking ticket at the reception.
Right in the middle of the quaint town square, the hotel is in the center of all the excitement. Within walking distance to all the important sites. The rooms have a very romantic flare with the quaint beauty of the past but will all the amenities expected of a more modern hotel. The food was a fantastic representation of local food pairings. My favorite being the beef tar tar. This was an excellent way to explore the beautiful village.
We only went to eat, the food was good and plenty of choice. For 25 euros you get 'all you can eat' on Sunday (brunch). There's plenty of space to eat quietly and there's music playing at excellent volume to not be bothersome. My one complaint is that the floor next to our table was a bit dirty and the tablecloth had some stains on it.
We made a two-night stop in Steyr, as a base for visiting nearby sites such as Melk Abbey and Mauthausen concentration camp. We found the town to be charming, lots of cute shops. This hotel is at the center of the altstadt. Rooms were nice, breakfast was very good, all in all we would recommend!
Nice cozy hotel in the middle of the old part of the town. Seems like it’s an old building that has been converted into a hotel. Receptionists were very friendly. Rooms are humble but clean and well kept. A perfect fit for a small town like styr.
Stayed there for two night. Lovely rooms. Friendly staff. Very central in Steyr. Wasn't charged any extra for the beer I took from the minibar because "the room was so small". Though I had no complaints about it. A bit poor wifi signal at the room. And there weren't separate shampoo and conditioners in the shower. Just the normal shower soap. Brekfeast a bit poor as well. Though I attended it in the last second.
